WordPress HTTP ERROR 500 currently unable to handle this request

If you are facing WordPress HTTP ERROR 500 after installing the WordPress theme or plugin this article will help you.

Sometimes this issue will occur because of plugins or themes compatibility problems.

You can manage the issue form the hosting control panel cPanel. Login to your cPanel account www.yoursite.com/cpanel enters your username and password of hosting and follow the below instructions.

  1. Using the file manager rename wp-content/plugins to wp-content/plugins-old
  2. If it still does not work, go to wp-content/themes/the theme you are using and add a -old to the theme name.
  3. If it still have the problem change the wp-config.php file as below. Then when you try to login you should get a list of errors.
Check the wp-config.php file and Where it says define( 'WP_DEBUG', false );
change that to define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );.

Check the error showing path like below and remove the file or plugin it will fix the problem.
